Crayons no more

Next time you come to visit, please don't ask to color with crayons. I have thrown them all out.

Last Thursday night Big and Little had a little "coloring party" in their bedroom. The decided to color on the floor, the bed and a bit on the wall. Well, after we discovered this, Hubby and I waited for the boys to fall asleep and we EMPTIED their bedroom. When I say emptied, I mean it. We took out everything except their bed and dresser. They were very surprised when they woke up- Big ran into our bedroom and said "MOM, all my stuff is gone"- I happily (actually a little grogily) said, "well, little boys who don't respect their stuff, don't get stuff". So, after two days of NO toys- the boys earned their toys back. Hopefully that was a one time lesson.
