Happy Birthday Jesus!

Merry Christmas! This Christmas season has been really great for our family. We spent Christmas Eve hanging out as a family- we made "warm" chocolate and drove around looking at lights, and then we came home and watched Santa Clause.
Christmas morning was by far the most fun. Seeing the excitement in BIg's eyes was priceless. "Santa got me exactly what I wanted, he must know I love John Deere" were Big's exact words.
After we ate breakfast and opened presents, we headed to the park to try out Big's new scooter. It was very chilly, so we only lasted a few minutes.

We came home and played with new toys until lunch. After naps we decorated a birthday cake for Jesus (we hope to make this a family tradition). We plan on eating dinner together tonight and then taking our beautiful cake to our friend's house for a birthday party for Jesus. I think it is really important that the focus not be on "us"- the focus should be on him.
It has been a long and fun filled day. I hope the holidays have been as good to you as they have been to us.
