We did it... we have been talking about it, and we finally did it. We took Big skiing. We decided to make it a special trip, so we headed up Sunday night and stayed at the Lodge. We got to the slope early (8:30) and were off to a great start. Big had a private lesson from 9:15-10:15 while Hubby and I got a few runs in. After Big's lesson we met up and ate snack. As we were bundling up to head back outdoors, Big decided that he had had enough skiing for the day. So needless to say, our day was over. This was the first ski trip, and I wanted it to be ALL FUN- no forced skiing. So we shoveled our car out of the 8 inches of new powder and were headed home.
We had an awesome time, Big did great, and he can't wait to go back. I was a little bummed that there was AWESOME snow and we paid for our tickets that we only used for 2 hours- but other than that we had a great "family - 1" trip. Thanks again BS for watching Little!
